Ballistic Weapons have the following characteristics

Type-What type of weapon it is. Determines things like range, firing method, special rules, and the number of shots it makes when fired.
StrengthSHow much firepower the weapon has to bring to bare.
DamageDHow many wounds the weapon does when an enemy fails to save against its hits.

Melee Weapons always deal 1 damage and use the bearer’s strength. Melee weapons have different types that do different things as described in the battle round’s special rules section.

When converting over from other rules do AP+(S/2 down) firearm (S+Rng+rules) * DMG * RoF, small balst = rof2, larg blast/template = rof3, huge blast = rof4 +++++ 1/10pts beam considered to have trippile rof, artillery RNg 9pts small blast rng 9pts, large 12pts, huge 18pts
